The DKR03.1-W200N-BA03-01-FW spindle drive is the computerized control drive for 2AD or ADF motors. It is also suited well for LAF or LSF linear motors or frameless 1Mb spindle motor. The main spindle drive is operated with a high control level and a fast speed for regulation with precise controls. The main spindle drives are well established for NC-controlled machine tools as well as for printing machines. The outputs of these drives are between 10 and 93KW with continuous power at the output motor shafts.

The DKR03.1 drive series are equipped with an emergency shutdown switch and integrated main contactor. The regenerated braking energy of 150kWs is required for the brake resistor to the main drive in emergency stops. The integrated brake resistor allows decelerating a spindle even if the mains collapse. There are no built-in brakes in the DKR03.1 series, but they can be ordered on demand.

It is designed for a primary connection to grounded Ac with 3*AC400V-480V. The firmware operating software is required for configuring the digital drive. It can also be configured by a basic unit, interface cards, command cards, auxiliary plug-in, and software module. For adequate cooling, blowers and heat sinks are integrated into the drive. The cooling of the mounted spindle drive in the control cabin can be done by the flow of inward air, outward air, or the air duct. The ambient condition for effective processing of the drive is as follows: The permissible temperature of the drive is +5°V to +55°C. The ambient altitude for mounting the main drive ranges from 0 to 1000 meters above sea level. The drive has an IP 20 per EN60529/IEC529 protection category.
