The DKR03.1-W100Z-BE43-02-FW model is specially designed by Rexroth Indramat to provide the digital intelligent control of Indramat motors such as 2AD or ADF main spindle motors, 1MB frameless spindle motors, and linear motors. The DKR03.1 drive controller provides high dynamics by delivering continuous power at a broad speed range. Some of the most common examples of the drive controller are NC machine tools, robotics, printing machines, and mounting systems. The model is engineered to take electrical power directly from the AC 3 × 400 – 480 V power source and the system frequency of the unit is 50 – 60 Hz. In case of any trouble, the DKR03.1 is equipped with an emergency stop switch. The control voltage requirement of the unit is AC 230 V with ±10% tolerance. The DKR03.1 drive controller operates at the PWM frequency of 4 kHz and 8 kHz. While operating at the switching frequency of 4 kHz/8 kHz the DKR03.1 model delivers the continuous power of 26/22 kW while consuming the continuous current of 71/60 A.

The model DKR03.1-W100Z-BE43-02-FW comes with a built-in blower that uses ambient air for maintaining the internal temperature of the unit. For controlling the speed and position of the motor, a digital servo and resolver feedback is installed in this unit. The drive controller uses the SERCOS interface for sharing data and developing real-time communication with the attached electrical motor. The ESM02.3 software module is installed into the U5 slot of the controller and the slot U1 is equipped with the command interface card (SERCOS interface). The model can be configured by installing various plug-in modules in the U2 – U4 slots of the basic unit. The overall heat dissipation of the controller is 900 W.
