The Bosch DKC06.3-018-3-MGP-01VRS is a Rexroth EcoDrive Cs drive. It is designed for motor control applications. The DC bus on the drive operates at 300 Volts DC. The output of the drive under recommended operating conditions is 18 Amps. If the DKC06.3-018-3-MGP-01VRS drive is operated at ambient conditions that do not comply with those recommended by Bosch, then the output will derate and the drive could also malfunction. The optimal operating conditions as per Bosch are less than 1000 meters altitude and 0 to 40 degrees Celsius. Operation of the drive at altitudes that exceed 2000 meters altitude and 55 degrees Celsius temperature is not permitted. Morevover, at 2000 meters altitude the maximum allowed operating temperature is 40 degrees Celsius instead of 55 degrees Celsius. The degree of protection offered by the drive housing is IP20.

This protection rating indicates that the DKC06.3-018-3-MGP-01VRS is safe from solid objects that have dimensions on the order of 12 millimeters. However, as indicated by the second digit of the IP rating, the drive housing does not offer any protection against liquids. Bosch recommends that the DKC06.3-018-3-MGP-01VRS should be mounted inside an industrial cabinet. The DKC06.3-018-3-MGP-01VRS features a MGP firmware and DeviceNet master communication.
