The DDS drive system is one of these, and it is universally accepted in various industrial applications for factory automation. The DDS02.2-W200-BE75-01-FW is a drive controller in the DDS drive controller series. It is compact; hence, it can be mounted into a closed housing with its supply unit. It functions with Indramat supply units with a regulated DC 24V voltage. This drive controller is cooled via heat technology, with heat being expelled within the closed housing. The Ingress Protection rating of the control cabinet is IP 10 according to DIN 40 050. This implies that it is protected against solid extrinsic objects with a diameter over 50 mm. However, it is not protected against penetration by water and intentional access by hand.

With an Ingress Protection of IP 20, the DDS02.2-W200-BE75-01-FW itself is protected against extrinsic objects over 12 mm in diameter. It has a rated current of 200A and uses a DC bus voltage of 300V with an allowance of +/-15%. This drive controller should be installed at a maximum height of 1000 m above mean sea level. Its operation should be at a maximum ambient temperature of 40°C and relative humidity of 95%. It supports the use of firmware.
