The Bosch DDS02.2-W200-BE10-01-FW is a digital drive controller. It requires 24 Volts DC input and is rated for 200 Amps output. The drive output derates i.e. falls below rated values if the ambient conditions deviate from those that are recommended by Bosch. The recommended temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The maximum output derating due to only ambient temperature increases is 20% to 55 degrees Celsius. The recommended elevation range is 0 to 1000 meters. The maximum output derating due to only elevation increases is 35% at 5000 meters. The DDS02.2-W200-BE10-01-FW is designed for heat technology and dissipates heat inside the cabinet. Proper spacing is required for smooth air flow and good ventilation. At least 40 millimeters of space should be provided on the front side of the mounted drive.

At least 80 millimeters of space should be provided on the top and bottom sides of the mounted drive. The command communication module on the DDS02.2-W200-BE10-01-FW supports SERCOS. The firmware is ordered separately and then downloaded to the drive. The firmware is stored on the software module. The operating parameters for the drive are programmed by an operator. These parameters are also stored on the software module. In case of drive failure, the software module can be removed and installed on a replacement drive for fast commissioning. Motor feedback methods supported by the DDS02.2-W200-BE10-01-FW include resolver feedback and digital servo feedback. The controller is compatible with a wide range of Bosch motors. Servo systems comprised of DDS controllers and compatible motors are well suited to industrial applications including robotics, textiles, printing machines and handling machines. The DDS02.2-W200-BE10-01-FW is available in an IP20 rated enclosure that weighs 7.5 kilograms.
