Product Description

The Bosch DDS02.2-W200-BE03-00 is a 200 Amps rated digital drive controller. The rated output is valid for recommended ambient conditions that include 0 to 45 degrees Celsius temperature and up to 1000 meters altitude. The output of the controller derates if it is operated outside these limits. Output of the controller derates linearly due to high temperature. The derating reaches a maximum of 20% at 55 degrees Celsius. Use of the controller at temperatures that exceed 55 degrees Celsius is not permitted. Output of the controller derates non-linearly due to high altitudes. It reaches a maximum of approximately 35% at 5000 meters. Use of the DDS02.2-W200-BE03-00 at altitudes that exceed 5000 meters is not permitted. The controller is designed for heat technology. It dissipates heat inside the control cabinet.

The cooling air enters through an inlet located at the bottom side of the controller. The heated air exits through an outlet at the top side of the controller. Heat dissipation inside the cabinet necessitates use of large cabinets. Air conditioning can also be used for maintenance of ambient temperature. DDS controllers designed for cold technology i.e. with a heat sink, are also available.  The DDS02.2-W200-BE03-00 features SERCOS command communication. SERCOS enables fast communication between control devices over fiber optic cables. The nodes on a SERCOS network are arranged in ring topology which provides redundancy against fiber cuts. The DDS02.2-W200-BE03-00 supports both resolver based feedback and encoder based digital servo feedback. Weight of the DDS02.2-W200-BE03-00 is approximately 7.5 kilograms. Dimensions of the DDS02.2-W200-BE03-00 are 355 x 325 x 105 millimeters. Recommended spacing on the front side of the controller is 40 millimeters. Recommended spacing on the top and bottom sides is 80 millimeters.
