The DDS02.2-W015-BE23-01-FW servodrive from the drive manufacturer Bosch Rexroth uses the DIAX03 firmware. This digital drive has a modular design. The connection between this product and the AC motor should be done using the motor power cable from the manufacturer. This cable encompasses one line for establishing the protective conductor connection and three lines for setting up the motor power connection. It has a maximum length of 75m. The device is connected to the motor through either a terminal box or a connector. The unit receives power when the ready-to-operate Bb contact closes. The motor feedback is connected to the X4 connector of the drive.

The servo drive displays both error diagnosis and warning diagnosis messages. The error diagnosis messages are represented by the letter F followed by a three-digit number. The warning diagnosis messages are highlighted by the letter E with a three-digit number following it. This device has a current rating of 15A. It deploys an internal cooling mechanism where the device is cooled by air circulation inside the control cabinet. The product makes use of a SERCOS interface for its command communications. This interface features inputs for the evaluation of sensor inputs, travel range limit switches and reference switches. The servo drive weighs approximately 7.5kg. It must be installed inside a large control cabinet because the heat dissipation takes place inside the cabinet. Air conditioning may also be needed. However, the installation process is very easy and minimum mounting is needed. The drive control is synchronized through a single-phase control loop. The drive may be installed up to a maximum elevation of 1,000m with rated data. The energy loss of the unit depends on the maximum continuous current of the motor to which it is connected when the motor is in a standstill position.
