The Bosch Rexroth DDS02.2-A100-BE11-02-FW is a modern drive controller. It is compatible with a wide range of Bosch Rexroth motor product lines. The controller is designed for convection cooling. The recommended ambient temperature range is 0 to 45 degrees Celsius. The heat generated during operation is dissipated outside the control cabinet. This offers several advantages such as use of small cabinets for equipment installation. The rated current output of the DDS02.2-A100-BE11-02-FW is 100 Amps. The output derates to 80% of nominal rating if the temperature reaches 55 degrees Celsius. Operation of the controller is not permitted at temperatures higher than 55 degrees Celsius. The maximum recommended site altitude is 1000 meters. The output of the controller derates to 65% of nominal output if the site altitude reaches 5000 meters above mean sea level.

Operation of the DDS02.2-A100-BE11-02-FW at altitudes above 5000 meters is not permitted. The relative humidity should be less than 95%. The absolute humidity should be less than 25 g/m³. The protection category of the controller housing is IP20. This rating indicates that the housing does not provide any protection against moisture ingress. The controller weight is 11 kilograms. The DDS02.2-A100-BE11-02-FW controller supports two modes of motor feedback that are digital servo feedback and resolver feedback. This enables use of the DDS02.2-A100-BE11-02-FW with motors enabled with either resolver or digital servo feedback. The command communication module on the DDS02.2-A100-BE11-02-FW supports SERCOS. The firmware for the DDS02.2-A100-BE11-02-FW is ordered separately. Applications of drive systems comprised of DDS controllers and compatible motors include textiles, robotics and handling machines.
