The DDS02.1-W050-DS09-01-FW model is a high-quality digital intelligent drive controller developed by Rexroth Indramat to achieve a high degree of precision in motion control technology. The DDS02.1 drive controller belongs to the family of the digital intelligent drive system and is suggested to be used with the motor designed for the DIAX04 drive system. The software module of the controller consists of the drive parameters and the firmware module. U5 slot of the drive controller is used to install the DSM02.1 software module. The controller must be operated under the ambient climatic conditions of 0 to +45 degree Celsius. The permissible temperature range should be followed in order to achieve the desired results. The model uses the SERCOS interface for efficient data sharing and for developing real-time communication. The controller is designed as per American standards and digital servo feedback is installed in this model that converts the rotation of the output shaft into electrical signals and stores them in the encoder memory. The only vertical mounting position is allowed for this controller and due to its low protection category, it must be installed in a secured enclosure of at least IP54 protection.

The model DDS02.1-W050-DS09-01-FW uses the phenomena of forced convection with the help of a blower unit to maintain its ambient temperature. During installation, make sure that the drive controller is configured properly and an adequate distance should be provided at the top, bottom, and sides of the controller. The model takes input power through its L-and L+ terminals and the model offers a three-phase connection to the motor through its A1, A2, and A3 terminals.
