The DDS02.1-W050-DS03-02-FW model is a well-designed drive controller from the family of the digital intelligent drive controller. The model consumes 50 A of rated current and it operates at the rated voltage of 24 VDC, supplied by the attached power supply unit. The DDS02.1 drive controller is designed to control the functions of the attached synchronous and linear motors. The drive controller can be configured according to the required functions by installing several modules in the slots of the basic unit. The controller comes with a SERCOS interface command communication module that assists in developing effective communication from the attached devices. The communication module also assists in developing efficient data sharing. The DDS02.1 drive controller is developed to be operated under the ambient temperature range of 0 to +45 degree Celsius and the maximum permissible humidity level for this controller is 95%. The model uses cold technology for maintaining its ambient temperature in which the device uses air from outside the control cabinet to maintain its housing temperature. The protection classification of the DDS controller is IP20.

The model DDS02.1-W050-DS03-02-FW comes with digital servo feedback for relative indirect position detection of the motor. U1 slot of the controller is equipped with a DSS1.3-FW module and the DEF01.1 incremental position interface card is installed in the U2 slot of the controller. U3 – U4 slots of the controller are not equipped with any module. The software module DSM02.1-FW is placed in the U5 slot of the controller. The operating software module for this controller must be ordered according to the required drive configurations as a separate sub-item.
