The DDS02.1-W025-RL01-00 model is a single-axis positioning module designed and manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The module can be installed along with the devices specified in the DDS user manual. The DDS02.1 drive controller comes in a modular design and is mainly used to operate the synchronous (MKD, MDD) and linear (LAR, LAF) electrical motors. The firmware must be ordered according to the type code and is supplied along with the controller. The operating software and the parameters are stored in the firmware module and it is recommended to make a copy firmware module before installation. The single-axis positioning module (DLC01.1) is installed in the U1 slot of the drive controller. The DLC01.1 module allows the controller to be programmed with up to 3000 program blocks. For controlling the speed of the attached synchronous or linear motor, resolver feedback is placed in this controller. The DDS02.1 drive controller uses external air for maintaining its housing temperature. The module must be operated with the respective power supply unit (TVM or KDV) which supplies +24 VDC or ±15VDC operating voltages.

The model DDS02.1-W025-RL01-00 operating at +24 VDC operating voltage consumes the rated power of 500 mA and the model operating at ±15 VDC operating voltage draws the rated power of 150 mA. The complete controller consists of a basic unit, a command communication card, auxiliary plug-in modules, firmware modules, and rating plates.
