Product Description

Manufactured by Rexroth Indramat, this DDSS Series Drive Controller comes with a Rated Current of 200A and features a Coolant cooling system. The drive controller is modular making it compatible with most drives running off multiple power supplies significantly reducing running costs.

The DDS02.1-F200-D comes with a fully configured and functional hardware and firmware. As such it comes with software and plugin modules, basic unit and firmware (both in software and plugin models). The DDS02.1-F200-D also features a Communications Module of Factory Assigned Function I.D.

The software modules contain codes that indicate drive and firmware parameters that match the initial configuration and functions of the drive. For the firmware, you should order it separately due to the fact that it is continually being updated. As such, it is possible to purchase an updated version whilst still offering the same functionalities.

The SERCOS INTERFACE DDS plugin module in the DDS02.1-F200-D makes it possible to operate a wide array of digital drives that are compatible with the SERCOS interface. This primarily happens via an optical cable. Additionally, the ANALOG interface with absolute encoder simulator enables you to operate digital intelligent AC servo drives featuring conventional controls.

The DDS02.1-F200-D can handle a maximum peak current and continuous current of 200A and 105A respectively. Side note, the peak current only lasts for a short while to avoid overheating and stressing the components. Again, ensure you operate the drive controller in optimal conditions – 0 to 45 C.

The Indramat DDS02.1-F200-D uses the liquid cooling method. As such it is not necessary to mount it on a raised surface. As an added safety feature, ensure the drive controller is operated by trained personnel. Again, the drive controller is not safe from liquid and can vehemently harm your hands.
