The Rexroth Indramat DDC01.2-N100A-DS04-03-FW is a digital drive controller. It weighs 22 kilograms. The controller is designed for mounting in the vertical orientation. Dimensions of the controller are:  517.5 millimeters height, 165 millimeters width and 298 millimeters depth. A configuration rating plate, status display, fault reset key, slots for plug in cards, RS-232 serial interface, motor feedback connection and analog I/O interfaces are located on the front panel of the DDC01.2-N100A-DS04-03-FW. A computer or VT-100 terminal can be connected to the controller through the serial interface for programming and configuration. The motor power connection and AC mains connections are located on the bottom side of the controller. Protection category of the housing of the controller is IP 65. The protection category of the power terminal connector, the motor power terminal and NC control unit interface is also IP 65.

Command control module on the DDC01.2-N100A-DS04-03-FW is SERCOS. Rated output of the controller is 100 Amps. The noise emission rating for the DDC01.2-N100A-DS04-03-FW is standard. Motor feedback is supported through an integrated digital servo. A DC bus converter and a bleeder resistor are built in the basic unit of the DDC01.2-N100A-DS04-03-FW.  Bleeder resistor on the controller heats up during operation. To prevent deforming of PVC cable conduits, Rexroth recommends provide a minimum clearance of 300 millimeters to the air outlet. In general DDC series controllers do not require maintenance. The heatsink can become clogged if the controller is operated in very dirty environments, and should therefore be checked regularly. If operation of the controller is inhibited by dust then the blower and the heatsink should be cleaned. A mains contactor is also provided on the controller for disconnecting the power. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
