Bosch Rexroth’s CSH control sections are ADVANCED control units designed to meet the highest demands in performance and dynamics. They are components of the drive controllers in the IndraDrive drive system. Their typical applications include machine tools and handling and mounting systems.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-MEM-S1-S-NN-FW is a model of Bosch Rexroth’s configurable CSH control sections. It can interact with high-level control units via its SERCOS master communication module. Fiber optic cables are used for the connection of these elements to prevent electromagnetic interference. The data rate and transmission power of the SERCOS module can be set via the serial interface X2 or with the control panel. This CSH control section has a standard control panel with a single-line display and four operating keys. It is used to set the analog outputs, access the error memory, establish the position data reference, start the basic load defaults procedure and set the drive address.

Different types of encoders can be connected to the CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-MEM-S1-S-NN-FW via its two encoder evaluation interfaces. These encoders have supply voltage ratings of 5V. Examples include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and sense lines, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The control section also has an encoder emulation interface for emulating absolute value and incremental encoder signals. It is equipped with Safety Technology I/O for different application-related safety functions including safety-related drive interlock, standstill, direction of motion and reduced speed. Like other components of the IndraDrive drive system, this CSH model is a product of category C3 per IEC 61800‑3. Hence, it should be only operated in industrial areas.
