The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system is a smart automation system designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a system equipped with many features that enable it to carry out a wide range of factory automation tasks. The single-axis control sections in the ADVANCED CSH01 series are components of the drive controllers in this drive system. Their typical areas of application are machine tools, printing and paper processing machines, and handling and mounting systems.

The CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section in the CSH01 series and the ADVANCED control section range. It is designed for operations requiring high performance and dynamics and is equipped with several features to facilitate these. One of these features is its PROFIBUS master communication module. With this reliable communication option, the control section communicates with higher-level control systems. It also serves as the means of the cyclical exchange of specified and actual values with bus users. Another feature of this control section model is its encoder evaluation interface that supports encoder systems with a supply voltage of 5V.

The encoder emulation interface of the CSH01.1C-PB-EN2-NNN-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW galvanically isolates absolute value and incremental encoder signals from the circuit board of the control section. These signals can be evaluated by a control unit. This control section model is also equipped with the Safe Torque Off option of category 3 PLe according to ISO 13849-1 and SIL3 according to IEC 62061. In addition, a standard control panel is present for commissioning and parameterizing the device. The user panel has a single-line display and four keys to explore its multiple functions. These include setting the drive address, starting the basic load defaults procedure, and setting the analog outputs.
