CSH02.5B-CC-EC-EM-NN-DA-NN-NW is a Bosch Rexroth control unit. It combines with a power section and firmware to form an IndrDrive series controller that can be used for motor control in industrial automation. The control unit features slots for optional hardware. It comes three factory-installed modules: a multi-encoder interface module, an encoder emulation module and a digital/analog I/O extension module. The emulation module allows emulation of absolute value and incremental encoder signals for further evaluation by a control unit. The signals are galvanically isolated from the circuit board. The module can emulate incremental encoder, absolute encoder (SSI encoder) and incremental encoder with signal level converter. For external connections to the module, Bosch recommends stranded wire with minimum 0.25 mm² and maximum 0.5 mm² cross-sectional area. The multi-encoder interface works with Bosch motor encoders designed for 5/12 Volts supplies.

It can be used with MSM motor encoder systems which are digital encoder systems that can be evaluated in absolute form. The power supply is 5 Volts and the maximum cable length is 40 meters. The interface also works with IndraDyn MSK/QSK motors with 12 Volt supply. When used with an EnDat 2.1 encoder the power supply is 5 Volts and the maximum cable length is 75 meters. When used with a 5 Volt TTL encoder the power supply is 5 Volts and the maximum cable length is 75 meters. When used with a 5 Volt SSI the power supply is 5 Volts and the maximum cable length is 75 meters. When used with 12 Volt SSI the power supply 12 Volts and the maximum cable length depends on a number factors. Master communication interface on the CSH02.5B-CC-EC-EM-NN-DA-NN-NW is SERCOS III master, which supports 100 Mbps communication and multiple network topologies.
