The CSH01.3C-SE-ENS-ENS-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW is a configurable CSH01 control section featuring the Design 3 option. Its interface options are two Encoder IndraDyn with Hiperface (1 V_pp/ TTL) interfaces, and its safety technology module option is Safe Torque Off, which has a SIL 3/cat. 3 PL e safety rating and certified according to EN/IEC 61800-5-2. There is also a cross-communication module on the control section, which corresponds to the IEEE 802.3 standard. It supports the use of firmware, but it has to be ordered separately.

A standard control panel on the CSH01.3C-SE-ENS-ENS-CCD-L2-S-NN-FW single-axis ADVANCED control section is used to commission and run diagnostics on the unit. It has a clear, single-line display and can be used for such functions as setting the drive address, setting the analog outputs, and starting the basic load defaults procedure. Its master communication module is a SERCOS interface (SERCOS II) whose data rate and transmission power can be set using the control panel or a serial interface on the control section. This SERCOS interface also allows the control section to be connected to other control units using fiber optic cables.
