Bosch Rexroth’s IndraDrive system integrates high-quality drive and motion control components to provide state-of-the-art solutions. One of these components is the drive controller with two essential parts: the power section and the control section.

The CSH01.2C-SE-ENS-MA1-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW is a single-axis control section with Design 2 in the CSH series by Bosch Rexroth. It features a SERCOS communication module to facilitate the transfer of target and actual values between the control system and control units. This module works with fiber optic cables for secure signal transfer and minimal wiring. There is a standard control panel in the CSH control section for setting the transmission power and field bus transmission rate of the SERCOS module. It has a single-line display that operators interact with to initiate various functions. These include setting the drive address, starting the basic load defaults procedure, and setting the analog outputs. This user panel is not suited for hot plug and must have been plugged in when the drive controller is switched on.

With its standard encoder evaluation interface, the CSH01.2C-SE-ENS-MA1-CCD-S1-S-NN-FW supports the connection of several encoders. They include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the MSK motor encoder, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. To protect users and the machine during its operation, the CSH control section is equipped with a Safety Technology I/O module. It allows different application-related safety functions, such as safety-related standstill, safety-related drive interlock, and safety-related reduced speed. The control section’s Analog I/O Extension provides 2 differential analog input channels (±10V) with 12-bit resolutions and 2 analog output channels (±10V) with 12-bit resolutions.
