Rexroth’s IndraDrive system is made up of components like the CSH control sections. These ADVANCED drive solutions provide impressive levels of performance and functionality. They are used in multiple applications, including handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and food packaging machines.

The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW is a configurable single-axis control section in the CSH series by Bosch Rexroth. It uses sercos for communication with drive system components, enabling rapid data transfer and scalability. This communication protocol uses fiber optic cables, which are ordered separately to ensure security with minimal wiring. It also guarantees maximum dynamics and precision. The standard encoder evaluation interface of the CSH model allows for the precise and accurate measurement of the position, speed, and direction of motion of motors. Its compatible encoders have a supply voltage of 12V. They include the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, and the MSK motor encoder.

To ensure the safety of workers, machines, and equipment, the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW has a safety technology I/O module. It facilitates safety functions including safety-related drive interlock, safety-related direction of motion, and safety-related standstill. The control section is equipped with a standard control panel, providing a user-friendly interface for controlling and monitoring its performance. This user panel has a single-line display where relevant information, like performance metrics, is displayed. It also has four keys which are used to adjust its settings to improve efficiency. The CSH model’s encoder emulation interface permits the emulation of galvanically isolated absolute value and incremental encoder signals. It allows the use of firmware, which should also be ordered separately.
