The Bosch CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW is a control section. It plugs into a power section: the combination forms an IndraDrive controller that operators can use for industrial applications. Some of the applications that use IndraDrive controllers include printing machines, machine tools, food machines and mounting systems. CSH series controllers support several encoder modules that allow controller use with a wide range of Bosch servo motors. The CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW features one encoder module: this is an encoder IndraDyn/Hiperface module that works with encoder systems designed for 12 Volt supplies including the following: MSK motors, sin-cos encoder 1 Vpp with Hiperface, sin-cos encoder 1 Vpp with EnDat 2.1, sin-cos encoder 1 Vpp with reference track and 5 Volt-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The control section features one analog I/O module and one digital I/O module.

The analog I/O extension module adds four I/O, two of which are analog input channels and two are analog output channels. The channels on the analog I/O module support 12-bit resolution and operate at ±10 Volts. The digital I/O extension module adds 20 channels, 12 of which are input channels and eight are output channels. The digital I/O channels operate at 24 Volts. A safety module is installed on the CSH01.1C-SE-ENS-MA1-MD1-S1-S-NN-FW and supports safety technology I/O. The control section is only compatible with standard control panels. The master communication interface is SERCOS. Operators can order other master communication interfaces including Profibus, SERCOS III, parallel interface, MutliEthernet, and CANopen. Operators can also order control sections without a master communication interface. The control section is also equipped with a RS-232 interface that allows serial communication with other devices such as terminals. Trained personnel should operate the control section and related equipment.
