ADVANCED control units by Bosch Rexroth are built to meet high performance and dynamics requirements. They include the single-axis control sections of the CSH series. Drive controllers with these units are used in handling and mounting equipment, food processing and packaging machines, and machine tools.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-NNN-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW is a configurable CSH control section in the ADVANCED range by Bosch Rexroth. Its design suits standard encoders with a supply voltage of 5V, including the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and sense lines, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. This is due to the presence of an encoder evaluation interface. It has a SERCOS communication module that permits its connection to higher control units via fiber optics cables. These cables prevent electromagnetic interference and facilitate secure and rapid signal transfer. However, they must be ordered separately. This applies to firmware, which is also compatible with the control section.

Using the standard control panel of the CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-NNN-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW, users can set the transmission power and field bus transmission rate of the SERCOS module. This user panel has four operating keys and a single-line display for viewing the operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. It is also used for setting the drive address, accessing the error memory, initiating the basic load defaults procedure, and setting the analog outputs. The safety technology option in the CSH model is starting lockout, which complies with stop category 0 in line with EN 60204-1. Its permitted switching frequencies are 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz, while its recommended maximum installation height is 1,000m above mean sea level.
