Handling and mounting equipment, food packaging machines, and machine tools are some applications of the drive controllers in the IndraDrive drive system. The drive controllers by Bosch Rexroth have two essential parts: the power section and the control section. They are used to control electrical motors and monitor their operation.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-ENS-EN1-S1-S-NN-FW is a single-axis control section designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable type with standard encoder evaluation interfaces for encoders with supply voltages of 12V and 5V. These include the MSK motor encoder, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface. It also has an interface for Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation. This interface is for encoder systems with a supply voltage of DC 8V or AC 18.2V peak-peak. Examples of these encoders are resolver without data memory and hall sensor box SHL01.1. The control section’s communication module is SERCOS, and it can interact with higher-level control units via fiber optic cables.

Operations like adjusting the transmission power and field bus transmission rate of the SERCOS module and setting the drive address are done using a standard control panel in the CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-ENS-EN1-S1-S-NN-FW. The user panel is designed with a single-line display with four keys for performing these functions. This CSH model also has a Safety Technology I/O module, allowing application-related safety functions, such as safety-related standstill, drive interlock, and reduced speed.
