Bosch Rexroth’s CSH control sections are built to provide solutions for a wide range of applications. They are ADVANCED control units that meet high-performance demands for applications like handling and mounting systems, machine tools, paper processing and printing machines, and food packaging machines.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW is a configurable control section in the CSH series designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It has two encoder evaluation interfaces for encoders with supply voltage ratings of 5V. These encoders include the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1 and sense lines, and the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with reference track. The control section’s SERCOS master communication module allows its interaction with high-level control units. Fiber optic cables are used to connect the control section to these control units so that there is excellent immunity to electromagnetic interference. The data rate and transmission power of the SERCOS module can also be adjusted via the CSH model’s serial interface X2.

Starting lockout is the safety technology module in the CSH01.1C-SE-EN2-EN2-NNN-L1-S-NN-FW. It complies with stop category 0 according to EN 60204-1. The CSH control section supports the use of firmware, but it must be ordered separately. It also has a standard control panel with a single-line display and four operating keys. Some functions that users can achieve with this operator panel include starting the basic load defaults procedure, establishing the position data reference, setting the analog outputs, and setting the drive address. The allowed switching frequencies for the operation of the unit are 2kHz, 4kHz, 8kHz, 12kHz, and 16kHz. It can be mounted or dismounted from the drive controller up to 20 times.
