CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a control section for Bosch IndraDrive controllers. Each drive controller consists of two essential parts: a power section and a control section. The control section plugs into the power section. Bosch supplies completely assembled drive controllers i.e. control section assembled into a power section. In exceptional cases, control sections can be delivered separately. When delivered separately, only personnel trained by Bosch Rexroth for mounting and dismounting control sections must mount and dismount control sections. For a particular drive controller, the control section must not be mounted or dismounted more than twenty times. Control section components can get damaged by electrostatic discharge (ESD). Therefore, exposed conductive parts coming into contact with the control section must be discharged by means of grounding. The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable device that belongs to the category of advanced control sections.

It is feature-rich device that supports integrated SERCOS communication and is equipped with an encoder HSF/RSF module. An optional analog I/O extension module increases the number of analog channels and equips control sections with analog channels of better resolution. This module option makes available the following functions: two differential analog input channels rated for ±10 Volts and two analog output channels rated for ±10 Volts. The resolution of each of the input and output channels on the optional module is 12 bits. The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW has a slot for a safety module. It also has one more slot for a hardware module. Safety module options for CSH controllers include starting lockout, safe toque off and safe motion. Hardware options for CSH control sections include digital I/O extension, encoder emulation, encoder with EnDat 2.1 interface, and encoder IndraDyn with Hiperface.
