Bosch Rexroth builds its compact drive controllers with two essential components: the control section and the power section. The single-axis control sections in the CSH series offer impressive performance and flexibility as they are compatible with different control communication and encoder interfaces.

The CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW is a configurable single-axis control section in Bosch Rexroth’s CSH series. It belongs to the ADVANCED control section range and features two interfaces for Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation. As a result, it is compatible with encoders with supply voltages of DC 8V or AC 18.2V peak-peak. Examples of these encoders are the resolvers without data memory, the encoders for MHD and MKD motors, and the Hall sensor box SHL01.1. Thanks to the CSH control section’s SERCOS interface, it can communicate with more advanced control units via a fiber optic cable which is ordered separately. An added advantage of the bus system is that its data rate and transmission power can be adjusted using the serial interface X2.

A standard control panel is built into the CSH01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-NNN-S2-S-NN-FW to perform various functions. These include establishing the position data reference, starting the basic load defaults procedure, and accessing the error memory. It has a single-line display and four prominent keys for exploring these functions. In addition, it is equipped with Safe Motion, a safety technology module that provides safety functions like safe door locking, diagnostic outputs, direction, and communication. Its typical inrush current is 4A, while its maximum pulse width is 100ms. The control section permits the use of firmware, but this must be ordered separately. It also has spring terminals and screw terminal blocks at its connection points.
