Product Description

Bosch Rexroth drive controllers have two essential components, the power section and the control section. The control section is usually supplied as part of the drive controller, however, it can be ordered as a separate item occasionally. It is plugged into the power section and is designed for single or multi-axis drive control tasks. Its typical areas of application include handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, printing and paper processing machines, and machine tools.

The CSH01.1C-PL-EN1-EN2-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW is an ADVANCED configurable single-axis control section in the Bosch Rexroth CSH series. Its master communication is via the parallel interface, a multiline channel where each line is capable of transmitting several bits of data simultaneously. This interface contains 16 digital inputs and 16 digital outputs combined in groups of four inputs and four outputs each. The safety module of this control section is the Safety Technology I/O. It allows different application-related safety functions, such as safety-related standstill, safety-related drive interlock, safety-related reduced speed, and safety-related direction of motion.

Multiple optional modules are present in the CSH01.1C-PL-EN1-EN2-MA1-S1-S-NN-FW. It has an encoder evaluation interface for resolvers and encoder systems with DC 8 V or AC 18.2 V peak-peak supply voltage. There is also another encoder evaluation module for encoder systems with a 5V supply voltage here. This control section also features an analog I/O extension used to equip it with analog channels of better resolution. It also has a standard control panel with a single-line display and four keys for its operations. The control panel is used to set the drive address, navigate the error memory, and initiate the basic load defaults procedure.
