The Bosch Rexroth CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW is a modular control section. The modularity is a feature of the device hardware and of the device firmware. Various hardware modules can be installed on the unit to adapt it to a wide range of customer requirements. Different firmware that support varying features sets can be installed to suit customer requirements. For this reason the firmware has to be ordered separately. Several optional modules are pre-installed on the CSH01.1C-PB-ENS-EN1-EN2-S1-S-NN-FW. These include a safety module that supports safety technology I/O and three encoder module. The standard control panel has a single-line display and is not suited for hot-plug i.e. it should not be connected or disconnected from the control section when the control section is powered on. The control panel must have been plugged in when the drive controller is switched on so that it will be recognized. The display on the control panel shows operating states, command and error diagnoses and pending warnings. The 4-button keypad on the control panel can be used by an engineer or technician to trigger simple commands or to display extended diagnosis. Functions that can be performed through the control panel include setting the drive address, setting the analog outputs, setting the transmission power and transmission rate for the SERCOS interface, viewing the error memory, and establishing the position data reference.
