The aim of Bosch Rexroth is to design and manufacture the most efficient drive and motion control units for all kinds of factory automation operations. They include servo motors, AC drive converters, power sections, and control sections. The Rexroth IndraDrive system is a safe, innovative and intelligent drive system that has applications in different industries. It is made up of a variety of components arranged in a modular configuration, which can either be ordered separately or with the system as a whole. A group of components in the Rexroth IndraDrive system are the CSH01 control sections of drive controllers.

The CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-EN1-NNN-L2-S-XP-FW is a single-axis control section for the HMS, HCS02 and HCS03 drive controllers by Bosch Rexroth. Using the Multi-Ethernet field bus system, it communicates with other components of the drive system and can use other field bus systems like SERCOS III, ProfiNet, and EtherCAT. Interfaces on the control section include the Encoder IndraDyn with Hiperface interface (1 V_pp/ TTL), which supports encoders such as the sin-cos encoder (1 V_pp) with EnDat 2.1 interface, sin-cos encoder (1 V_pp) with reference track, and 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track.

The Encoder HSF/RSF interface is another encoder interface on the CSH01.1C-ET-ENS-EN1-NNN-L2-S-XP-FW for encoder systems such as the resolver, digital servo feedback, and resolve without data memory. For safe use, it is equipped with a Safe Torque Off module that prevents the machine from producing torque spontaneously. The module has an SIL 3/cat 3 PL e rating, based on ISO 13849-1 and IEC 62061 standards. A standard control panel on the control section is useful for error diagnosis and information on the operating states of the controller.
