The Bosch CSH01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NP-FW is a control section. It is one of the primary components of an IndraDrive controller.  The control section mounts on the power section, which is the other primary component of an IndraDrive controller. A control section such as the CSH01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NP-FW is normally supplied as part of a fully configured controller. However Bosch does provide control sections separately if required. The control section has a modular structure that enables the installation of a maximum of three plug–in modules and one safety module. The CSH01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NP-FW features one plug-in module and does not include a safety module. The plug-in module installed on option 1 of the control section is a IndraDyn encoder with Hiperface interface. The design of the control section is standard. The control section features a standard control panel.

The control panel has a single-line display and is not hot-swappable. Bosch recommends that the control panel should be plugged in prior to the drive controller being switching on. The control panel display shows the various operating states, errors and warnings. The control panel keys can be used to request extended diagnosis display and can also be used to trigger simple commands. Functions that can be performed using the standard control panel include configuration of the drive address, starting of the basic load defaults procedure and establishment of the position data reference. The CSH01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NP-FW is a configurable control section. The master communication is CANopen / DeviceNet. The control section can also be ordered with comfort control panels which can be programmed and provide additional settings and command functions. The firmware for the CSH01.1C-CO-ENS-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NP-FW has to be ordered separately. The control section is meant to be operated by qualified personnel.
