The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW is a control section for IndraDrive controllers. Typical applications of these drive controllers include machine tools, printing machines, paper processing machines, mounting systems and handling systems. Bosch supplies the controllers as completely assembled units that are comprised of a control section, a power section and installed firmware. The hardware and software (firmware) for the controllers has to be ordered separately. In special cases the hardware components of the controllers i.e. power section and control section are supplied as individual units. In such cases the two hardware components have to be assembled manually. Bosch only allows trained personnel to assemble the two hardware components. Bosch also recommends limiting to 20 the number of times that the two hardware components are assembled / disassembled. A RS-232 serial interface is provided on the front panel of the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW.

This communication interface can be used to communicate with other devices that support serial communication such as PCs or terminals. The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW also includes an integrated SERCOS master communication interface. This allows the drive to communicate with other SERCOS-enabled devices. The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW is a modular device that allows installation of plug-in modules. The control section is supplied with two optional modules and a safety module. The safety module on the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW supports safe torque off. The other two optional modules that are installed on the CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW are a IndraDyn encoder module and an encoder emulation module. The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-MEM-L2-S-NN-FW can be configured via a standard control panel. IndraDrive controllers may only be operated under the assembly and installation conditions described in the product documentation, in the specified position of normal use and under ambient conditions as described including temperature and humidity etc. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
