CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW is a Compact Converter control unit that makes up the Rexroth IndraDrive. This Compact design is optimal for single-axis applications. The unit is compatible with a wide range of industry-standard interfaces, making it suitable for a variety of applications. It is already integrated with the correct interfaces for connecting IndraDyn motors and other encoders. The extension slot, found on the control unit, can be used for connection of another encoder, an I/O extension, or for output of emulated encoder signals.

With SERCOS communication interface, intelligent drive technology can be utilized in CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW. SERCOS uses a high frequency, therefore, it has short cycle times and can transfer data between the control unit and the control system. For connection to the PC, it uses the readily available RS232 cable. In addition to these interfaces, the control unit has digital input and output ports. The digital outputs are mainly for relay control. CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW has multiple encoder interfaces such as: IndraDyn motors, Hiperface, 1 Vpp and 5VTTl. The CSB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW standard operational panel is an optional operating panel with graphical capabilities. The operating panel has a start-up guide that does not require a PC. The panel also offers the ability to transmit parameters from one drive to another. This is helpful when a number of drives have to run in synchrony. This is made possible by the plug-in Multimedia Card. The card can also be used to expand the memory of the Motion Logic integrated in the drive. This is a firmware option.
