The Bosch CSB01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a CSB series digital control section. It is suited to single-axis applications. Bosch offers multiple control section types for IndraDrive drive controllers. The CSB01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is a basic universal unit with two slots for plug in modules and one slot for a safety module. Other types of control sections have up to four slots for plug in modules and two slots for safety modules. The CSB01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW features one encoder emulation module and one encoder IndraDyn module. The slot for safety modules is empty and can be used for any suitable module from among the available options. Master communication interface is not available on the unit.  The CSB01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW is configurable. It is compatible with a standard control panel. The unit firmware determines functionality and has to be ordered separately.

A type plate is attached to the CSB01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW. It lists information that helps to identify the unit and the modules that are installed on the unit. A type plate for the firmware is also attached to the unit and lists firmware type code and other relevant information. An integrated RS-232 serial interface enables communication with serial-interface enabled terminals and other devices. Supported switching frequencies include 2 / 4 / 8 kilohertz. The CSB01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW receives electrical power from the power section on which it mounts. The rated input is 24 Volts DC. The CSB01.1C-NN-ENS-MEM-NN-S-NN-FW draws 8 Watts and a maximum inrush current of 4.5 Amps. Dimensions of the control section are 241 x 103 x 49.5 millimeters. It is designed for vertical mounting. The unit dissipates heat inside the control cabinet. Larger cabinet may be needed to ensure that ambient temperature is within recommended limits. This unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
