The Rexroth CML40.2-SP-330-NA is an IndraControl L40 series modular and scalable controller. It offers the benefits of embedded PC architecture with standardized I/O system. The front of the controller contains the display, operator keys, RS-232 interface and reset button on the left, additional communication interfaces in the middle and terminals for power supply and digital I/Os on the right. Typical applications for the CML40.2-SP-330-NA include packaging machines, foodstuff machines and machine tools. The controller is a Class A device and may cause interference if installed in residential areas. Proper transport, assembly and installation are prerequisites for safe and optimal operation of the equipment. Bosch Rexroth recommends that only technical personnel possessing the relevant training and experience should be involved in installation and any subsequent maintenance activities. The controller does not come with integrated fan for cooling.

Processor on the CML40.2-SP-330-NA is the AMD Geode LX800 with 500 MHz clock speed. Working memory on the controller includes 64 MB of DRAM and 128 KB of NVRAM. SRAM is not available on the controller. Built in communication interfaces on the controller include a serial RS-232 interface and a 10/100 Base-T Ethernet interface. Additionally, a SERCOS master interface and a master-slave ProfiBus interface are also provided on the controller. The CML40.2-SP-330-NA is compatible with power supplies that comply with DIN EN 61131-2 and are rated for nominal 24 Volts DC and voltage range of 19.2 to 30.2 Volts DC. Power consumption of the controller is 9 Watts (excluding I/O and additional modules). Operating and non-operating temperature ranges are 5 to 55 degrees Celsius and -25 to 70 degrees Celsius respectively. The controller can be installed at maximum altitude of 3000 meters above sea level. This control unit can be shipped globally with a one-year warranty period from Wake Industrial.
