Product Description

Rexroth Bosch Indramat GmbH offers a wide variety of motion control solutions worldwide. These motion and logic control solutions include state-of-the-art drives, devices, servo systems and more. The company also launches its firmware install, program and maintain accurate drive systems. The CLM is a multi-tasking, microprocessor-based modular positioning control designed for precision motion controlling of four axes. The module controls maintenance-free servo system and other positioning device manufactured by Rexroth Indramat. The closed-loop feedback system controls speed and position and it is used to control different applications, such as thermoforming machines, roll feeds, packaging machines, linear gantry robots, automatic bending machines, and more. The firmware FWA-CLM1.4-LAP-04VRS-MS is meant for 2 (4) Axis positioning control and it offers a set of commands and parameters to the CLM1.4.

The FWA-CLM1.4-LAP-04VRS-MS offers extensive command set for the CLM1.4 module to execute highly complex processing functions. These sets of commands and parameters enable the control module to multi-task, like running two motion programs while executing PLC program in the background. With the help of the FWA-CLM1.4-LAP-04VRS-MS, the CLM1.4 control module can also be used to control remote operations. 

In order to install the FWA-CLM1.4-Lap-04VRS-MS firmware, it must be installed by a qualified personnel. Use of EPROM extraction tool and anti-static mats is recommended while replacing the EPROMs. Moreover, Electrostatic Guidelines (ESG) must be followed after replacing the EPROM. Before replacing the EPROM, it is recommended that the existing programs and parameters must be secured. The CLM must be turned off. The EPROM can be replaced by pulling out the MOK19 module card followed by the old EPROM and inserting the EPROM with the upgraded version of the firmware, and fixing the module card back to its place in the CLM.
