The CLM01.4-N-E-4-N-FW control unit is a new-generation device designed by Rexroth Indramat to accurately control the operation of the industrial servo systems which play a crucial role in industrial manufacturing processes. This control unit operated with a motor feedback connection, it receives digital information from the encoder connected to the servo motor and then uses this information to independently control the servo system based on the configuration parameters and the program blocks integrated by the operator into its software module. The CLM01.4-N-E-4-N-FW control unit contains a 6000 Motorolla microprocessor and can comfortably carry out both single and multiple axis control depending on the industrial application it is required to control.

The front panel of the CLM01.4-N-E-4-N-FW control unit is designed with different components and connectors that gives the operator full control over the control unit and helps the control unit keep a tab on the activities in other parts of the servo system. Some of the components that can be found on the power unit of the CLM01.4-N-E-4-N-FW control unit includes The X6 RS-232/422/485 Communications Port, The X5 Drive Command Connector, The X19 connector and The 1.6 Ampere fuse which protects power circuit of the control unit from over current. The control unit also contains a light-emitting diode which signals to alert the operator that the “amplifier ready” contact is closed and that the control unit is ready to be operated.
