The Rexroth IndraDrive system is a high-performance drive system with a modular configuration, composed of different units working together to achieve optimum results. One of the series of units in the drive system is the CDB02 series of control sections. These devices are designed to work with the power sections of IndraDrive drive controllers, which are used for controlling and monitoring electrical motors.

The CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-EM-S4-S4-EM-NN-FW is a Design 1 model of the CDB02 IndraDrive control units. It is a BASIC, double-axis control section with extended scope interface equipment. Its communication bus is Multi-Ethernet and this allows its compatible drive controller to be integrated in Ethernet field bus systems like EtherCAT, Sercos III, Ethernet/IP, and PROFINET IO. The CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-EM-S4-S4-EM-NN-FW is equipped with 2 multi-encoder interfaces on its two axes and encoder emulation on another interface. There are also 2 safe motion interfaces on its safety technology axes. It uses a standard control panel featuring a single-line display and four keys for communication with the system.

The maximum pulse width of the CDB02.1B-ET-EC-EC-EM-S4-S4-EM-NN-FW is 1ms and the its maximum inrush current value is 5A. With a 24V DC supply voltage and the maximum allowed output load, its power consumption rating is 23W. This rating also includes the power consumption of optional modules used with it. The control section should not be operated under water or at extremely high temperatures. The assigned power section with which it should be used is the HMD01 power section, also designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth.
