The CDB01 control section series is a collection of configurable, double-axis control sections in the BASIC UNIVERSAL range. In general, control sections are integral components of drive controllers in the Rexroth IndraDrive drive system. They differ in various features such as configurability, interfaces, cycle times, and switching frequencies. These variations enable the different applications of drive controllers. These applications include packaging and food machines, handling and mounting systems, printing machines, paper processing machinery, and machine tools.

The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW is of design type 1. Typical of other control sections in this series, it has four integrated I/Os, which can be configured to function as a digital input or output. Its SERCOS interface functions as a communication module enabling the connection of a drive controller to higher-level control units via a fiber optic cable. The evaluation of encoder systems with a supply voltage of 12V, such as the sin-cos encoder(1Vpp) with reference track and sin-cos encoder(1Vpp) with Hiperface interface, is enabled via the standard encoder interface. Meanwhile, the encoder evaluation interface allows for the connection of encoders with a supply voltage of 5V, such as the sin-cos encoder(1Vpp); EnDat 2.1 with Sense lines and 5V-TTL square wave encoder with reference track.

The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-ENS-EN2-EN2-L1-S-NN-FW functions at a switching frequency of 2kHz, 4 kHz, and 8kHz and a current control cycle time of 125 microseconds. For safety, this control section utilizes a starting lockout technology. To reduce the risk of damage, it is recommended that this control unit is mounted and dismounted no more than a total of 20 times. To retain the functionality of this device when not in use, conductive packaging is the ideal form of storage. In addition, the control section is regulated via a standard control panel and is compatible with the firmware.
