The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is part of the Rexroth Indramat CDB01 series of control sections. The section is part of a drive controller that is also made up of the power section. The control section comes plugged into the power section. In exceptional cases, it is delivered separately and it is in such cases that a person trained by Rexroth Indramat should mount and dismount the control section for a maximum of 20 times. This is to prevent damage to both sections and the drive controller. The drive controllers compatible with this control section are used in handling and mounting systems, machine tools, and others.

The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW is a configurable double-axis section that comes with one configuration slot safety technology, 5-8 digital inputs thereof, 0-3 digital outputs, and one N/O relay contacts. The switching frequencies range from 2 kHz and 4 kHz to 8 kHz. It features a SERCOS interface master communication, encoder IndraDyn/Hiperface/1 Vpp/TTL option, encoder HSF/RSF option, and a standard control panel. The maximum tightening torque for the SERCOS master communication at the coupling elements of the optic cables is capped at 0.6Nm. The interface allows the drive controller to be connected to higher-level units through the use of fiber optic cables.

The CDB01.1C-SE-ENS-EN1-NNN-NNN-NN-S-NN-FW comes with a control panel that enables the commissioning engineers to set the drive address, set transmission power, establish the position data reference, and have a look at the error memory of the section. It displays information such as operating states, error and command messages and pending warnings.
