Bosch Rexroth is the designer of the revolutionary Rexroth IndraDrive drive system into which different high-performance components have been integrated. One of such components is a drive controller with a power section and a control section as its essential parts. The CDB control sections are a family of control sections in these drive controllers. They are used in handling and mounting systems, packaging and food machines, and printing and paper processing machines.

The CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-MEM-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW is a Line 01 model of the CDB control sections designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable double-axis model equipped with two Resolver and HSF encoder evaluation interfaces. These interfaces allow the connection of encoder systems with DC 8 V or AC 18.2 V peak-peak supply voltage values. The control section also features an Analog I/O extension for increasing the number of analog channels available. Analog channels of better resolution can also be provided to the control section with the module. Its master communication module is SERCOS, which requires a fiber optics cable for effective signal transfer.

An encoder emulation interface on the CDB01.1C-SE-EN1-EN1-MEM-MA1-L1-S-NN-FW permits absolute value and incremental encoder signals to be emulated by a control unit. This does not require any external power supply, and the signals are isolated from the circuit board. The standard control panel of this control section can be used to adjust the field bus transmission rate and power of the SERCOS module. It features a single-line display and four robust keys for exploring its functions. The safety module integrated into this device is starting lockout, and it complies with stop category 0 according to EN60204-1.
