The Rexroth IndraDrive drive system by Bosch Rexroth has a wide range of application advantages thanks to its high flexibility. The CDB01 series is a family of control sections in the drive controllers in this drive system. The control sections are in the BASIC UNIVERSAL control section range, and they feature numerous industry-standard interfaces.

The CDB01.1C-S3-ENS-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW is a CDB01 control section model designed and manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. It is a configurable Version 1 type with two standard encoder evaluation interfaces. These two interfaces support encoders with a supply voltage of 12V, such as the encoder system of the IndraDyn S motors (MSK motors), the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with EnDat 2.1, the sin-cos encoder (1 Vpp) with Hiperface, and the 5V-TTL square-wave encoder with reference track. The control communication module of the control section is SERCOS III. It is the Ethernet-based version of SERCOS II, and it is well-suited for high-precision motion control applications. This module works with LED display elements that provide information on the operation status of the drive controller.

Analog channels of better resolution can be obtained on the CDB01.1C-S3-ENS-ENS-NNN-MA1-NN-S-NN-FW with its Analog I/O extension. The module is also used to increase the number of analog channels and provides two differential analog input channels and two analog output channels. Both sets of channels have resolutions of 12 bits. This configurable double-axis control section also features a standard control panel for setting the drive address and analog outputs and starting the basic loads default procedure. It has a single-line display and four keys for its function. Alternatively, the IndraWorks software can be used to operate, parameterize and commission the control section.
