The CDB01.1-CS-ENS-NNN-NNN-L2-S-NN-FW control section is a configurable module and is one of the key components of a drive controller. This Bosch Rexroth part is generally not available separately and comes fitted inside the manufacturer’s drive controller. The product should not be allowed to come into contact with exposed conductive parts before they are discharged completely. The device should be fitted with only those spare parts and accessories that have the manufacturer’s approval. The drive controller that features the unit must be permitted to operate only if the application it is used for complies with the national EMC regulations.

The control section must be handled only half an hour after the power supply has been switched off so that its live capacitors get discharged. Its electrical connection points should not be touched when the power supply is on. The product encompasses a firmware type plate apart from the control section type plate. This firmware type plate has various details like type, serial number, production week, barcode and factory identifier. The firmware must be purchased as a separate subitem. The unit has a minimum SERCOS cycle time of 1,000µs. It has switching frequencies of 2kHz, 4kHz and 8kHz.

The standard control panel features four buttons and a one-line display that indicates the error and command diagnoses, operating states and pending warnings. This non-programmable panel should be plugged in before the drive controller is switched on for it to be recognized. It helps in the setup of the position data reference. The relay contacts have a drop out delay and pick up delay of 10ms. They also feature a contact resistance of 1,000 milliohms at minimum current.
