The CCD01.1-KE06-01-FW box terminal is manufactured by Bosch Rexroth. This box terminal can be used to plug in option cards. This product utilizes firmware for its proper functioning. The firmware must be bought as a separate sub-item. The device has one LED for power status, two LEDs for data transmission status, and a couple of LEDs for link status. It also features two connectors with eight pins on each of them. These connectors have no connections on their fourth, fifth, seventh, and eight pins. The earth wire of the unit should be permanently connected to the electrical components to avoid electric shock.

The box terminal is capable of supporting four option cards at a time in its four slots. These slots are named U1 to U4. The configuration rating plate indicates the option card present in each slot.
