Product Description
EL7211-9014 is an EtherCAT enabled servo terminal. This model is specifically designed to be used with AM8100 series synchronous servomotors by BECKHOFF. The EL7211-9014 offers speed or torque oriented controlling of the associated motor. With this model, you will be able to construct a motion control system with relatively very less cabling as it supports One Cable Technology. An OCT cable contains motor power and feedback cables in a single packaging. This servo terminal is easy to configure as it can detect the type and the parameters of the attached motor. This model supports a highly dynamic and fast controlling task as its control technology is based on PI speed and field-oriented current control.
The EL7211-9014 monitor various parameters such as motor load, terminal temperature, and certain abnormalities such as; overcurrent, under-voltage, overvoltage to ensure the safety and integrity of the system. This servo terminal can be controlled via PC-based control technology as it fully supports communications through EtherCAT. To indicate warning, status, and error messages the EL7211-9014 has a 16 LEDs based diagnostic panel available on its front panel. This 1-channel device has 1 x motor brake output, 1 x servomotor output, 2 x end limit inputs, 1 x servomotor feedback input, and 1 x STO input.
This servo terminal offers direct connectivity to servomotors through over OCT. the rated speed controller frequency for this terminal is 1 kHz and its current controller frequency is 32 kHz. The PWM clock incorporated in this model is designed to operate at a frequency of 16 kHz. The EL7211-9014 weighs around 95 grams and its operating temperature range is 0…+55 °C. This servomotor terminal can supply up to 4.5 A of current. This product can be purchased from Wake Industrial with a one-year warranty period.
