The EL7041-0052 is a member of the ELXXXX family EtherCAT Terminals produced by Beckhoff. The ELXXXX terminals are modular I/O systems that consist of electronic terminal blocks. Their outer contour fits into the terminal casing. These terminals come with 3-wire conductors with an extra one for protection. The conductors are used for connecting actuators and sensors directly. There are also LEDs to display the status of the terminal. The EL7041-0052 terminal has a compact Drive Technology, and it is suitable for stepper motors with a medium performance range.

The EL7041-0052 has IP 20 protection and CE and UL approvals just like most ELXXXX EtherCAT Terminals. It is possible to alter the terminal to fit a stepper motor and application perfectly. That is done by adjusting its parameters. The EL7041-0052 terminal has just one channel and brakes quietly and precisely.
