The EL6711-0010 is a CC-Link slave terminal from Beckhoff Automation. The terminal is used for the transfer of data between CC-Link and EtherCAT. The unit has a fieldbus of CC-Link slave version 1.1 or 2.0 and one fieldbus channel. It has data transfers rate ranging from 156kbaud to 10Mbaud, a maximum current load of 10A and a nominal voltage rating of 24VDC. The device has a bus interface with one open style connector and includes five pins. The terminal incorporates status LEDs for hardware diagnosis. The unit is enclosed in a compact terminal housing that comprises signal LEDs. The housing is made of polycarbonate.

The slave terminal measures 24mm x 100mm x 52mm (W x H x D). The EtherCAT master is used to set the parameters of all the CC-Link specific settings. These include the values for data size, baud rate, node address and more. There is no requirement for complex configurations or further parameterization on the CC-Link side or via the CC-Link master respectively. The terminal encompasses IP 20 protection class and is CE Certified. It features standard terminal block marking. The device must be rail mounted on a 35mm C-rail according to EN 60715 specifications, with lock. The unit operates between an ambient temperature range of 0°C and +55°C and supports a relative humidity of 95% without condensation.

Multiple slave terminals can be mounted side by side on the C-rails with the help of a double slot and key connection. The device must be stored in a temperature range of -25°C and +55°C. It has three spring power contacts and a specific push-in wiring connection. The unit has a vibration/shock resistance conforming to EN 60068-2-6/EN 60068-2-27 specifications and the terminal comprises an EMC immunity/emission in accordance with EN 61000-6-2/EN 61000-6-4 specifications.
