The CX9020-0110 is a compact, DIN rail-installable Ethernet control system. The I/O system in this embedded PC is integrated into the CPU module. The control system automatically detects the E/K-bus system and switches in the module at hand. The unit features status LEDs, a battery compartment, and several interfaces. The interfaces are four USB 2.0 interfaces, two microSD card slots, one DVI-D interface, and an optional interface. Optional interfaces include CANopen, PROFIBUS, and RS232. The RJ45 interfaces found in this motor are connected to an internal switch that enables seamless creation of a line topology eliminating the need for additional Ethernet switches.

The CX9020-0110 comes with a Windows Embedded Compact 7 operating system, ARM Cortex I GHz processor, and E-bus or K-bus I/O connection. It consists of an integrated persistent memory of 128 KB NOVRAM, 1 GB DDR3 RAM main memory, and flash memory with two microSD slots. The power supply is 24V DC (-15%/+20%), maximum power consumption is 5W, and the current supply to I/O connection is 2A. The CX9020-0110 weighs approximately 590g, measures 84mm (W) x 99mm (H) x 91mm (D), and has an IP 20 protection category. Some of the EX-marking include II 3 G Ex nA IIC T4 Gc and Ex nA IIC T4 Gc.

The permissible ambient operating and storage temperatures are -25 to 60 degrees Celsius and -40 to 80 degrees Celsius while the permissible humidity is 95% without condensation. This CS series provides a combination of PC technology and modular I/O level on a DIN rail saving on installation cost and space. It should be mounted in a control cabinet that meets IP 54 protection class.
