Their basic CPU modules offer high-performance, reliability and a robust design. The CX2030 is one of the many series of basic CPU modules offered by Beckhoff.

The CX2030-0125 is part of the CX2030 series of basic CPU modules. The CX2030-0125 runs on the Microsoft Windows Embedded Standard 7 P 32-bit operating system and has a TwinCAT 3 runtime (XAR) environment. This CPU module has Intel^® Core^TM i7 1.5Ghz 2 core processor. This CPU module comes with 2 GB DDR3 RAM which can be extended to 4GB. Apart from the main memory, it also supports flash memory of up to 40GB. The CX2030-0125 has passive cooling and several diagnostics LEDs. There are a total of 5 LEDs on this module. One LED is for power, one for TC status, one for flash access and two LEDs are for bus status. This CPU module has an internal clock with battery-backup for date and time. The battery is easy user exchangeable.

The CX2030-0125 has a 24V DC power supply with a maximum power consumption of 27 W. The I/O connection is through a power supply module (K-bus or E-bus, automatic recognition). This CPU module weighs approximately 1165 g and has a dimension of 14.4 cm x 9.9 cm x 9.1 cm (W x H x D). The CX2030-0125 comes in an IP 20 rated enclosure therefore, it cannot be used in locations that are exposed to dust. Recommended operational temperature is between -25˚C to 60˚C with storage temperature between -40˚C to 85˚C.
