Product Description

Okuma thrives in manufacturing and refurbishing MIV units that are exceptionally durable, scalable in power and with an easy-to-use manual. The availed information will help you in the installation and even best practices for maintenance to avoid damage to the devices or injury to the users. Various indications and specifications are pivotal for the proper functioning of the MIVs in the highly integrated systems.

The MIV0104-1-B1 servo drive requires ambient conditions in terms of temperature and voltage for proper functioning. When operating, high voltages are allowed on the lower and upper terminal blocks in the unit and while the power is on, you should not remove the plastic terminal block cover.

You should follow certain procedures when your power is off and you want to remove the plastic cover. In simple words, the plastic cover on the lower terminal block removal process involves pushing the lock lightly, turning the cover 90 degrees and then removing the cover by pulling it to the front. For the plastic cover on the terminal block on the upper side, push the lock lightly and tilt the plastic cover about 10 degrees in front and then you may pull the cover upwards to remove it.

Additionally, there are certain error numbers that may appear on your unit and they demand particular actions to be taken. When you see the control board error which may be synchronization or PWM buffer operation, then you should replace your MIV0104-1-B1 servo drive. When the control voltage shows the +/-12V/24V error, you should consider getting another inverter unit. When an error occurs with the option program file (OPF), check the OPF and change the MIV0104-1-B1 servo drive.
