The control principle states that the frequency converter rectifies the ac voltage to DC. It works again to convert this DC voltage to AC again which is with variable amplitude and also frequency. This variable voltage and also the frequency supplying the motor makes it possible to have speed control perfectly and that through with three phase asynchronous motors.
