The Bosch VisualMotion system is a programmable motion and logic control which supports the PPC-R22.1 with GPP 10 firmware. A PPC-R such as the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-P2-NN-FW is a stand-alone control in RECO 02 form factor. GPP 10 firmware supports multi-axis non-coordinated or coordinated motion control with built-in logic functions. Applications for the control include robotics, general motion control and mast electronic line shafting. A VisualMotion system is comprised of PPC-R22.1 control, I/O modules, inline modules, VisualMotion Toolkit programming software and Rexroth IndraDrive / DIAX 04 / EcoDrive 03 drives. Three expansion slots are available on the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-P2-NN-FW two of which are factory-fitted with modules including a PLC master module (programmable limit switch) and a Profibus-DP slave module. Integrated communications interfaces on the control include one Ethernet, a serial programming interface, a general-purpose serial interface and an Indramat BT bus interface.

The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-P2-NN-FW does not come with a memory module. The PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-P2-NN-FW supports three digital inputs which are of the current-sinking to ground type. Low and high input voltages range for the digital inputs are 0 to 5 Volts DC and 15 to 30 Volts DC. The minimum input current level is 10 milliamps. The control also includes two digital outputs which have a maximum delay of 400 microseconds. The maximum output current level is 0.5 Amps. The digital outputs are short circuit proof. Power for the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-P2-NN-FW needs to be provided from a DC power supply rated for nominal 24 Volts DC. Input range compatible with the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-P2-NN-FW is 19.2 to 30 Volts DC. Rated current consumption of the PPC-R22.1N-T-N1-P2-NN-FW control is 1.2 Amps. Approximate weight and dimensions for the control are 1.3 kilograms and 83.7 x 192 x 150 millimeters.
